Here we have a very nice No.54 fountain pen in black with a gold plated lever and two 9ct gold barrel bands; the pen has a medium grade 14ct gold No.2 nib and writes nicely with quite some flex; the imprint on the barrel is unreadable but the 54 on the barrel end is readable; the plating on the lever is good and there are no cracks, splits or noticeable scratches.
